Echinodorus Ozelot Green

$9

Ozelot Green Sword is its common name.

A vibrant and striking plant ideal for mid- or background accents is Ozelot Green Swords. They resemble the common Ozelot Swords, but instead of the tall, thin stalks of the common, the leaves are a little wider and the growth is more compact. They come in red and green colors; the red ones have wavy leaves and vividly colorful dots. Red, pink, and gold to green or dark green are just a few of the colors that Red Ozelot sword plants can exhibit. Ozelot sword plants can grow above or below water, with emersed plants occasionally blooming with tiny white flowers. These plants are a cross between E. barthii and E. schlueteri 'Leopard' species.

Although ozelot sword plants are not particular about the water's characteristics, they do require healthy, nutrient-rich soil in order to flourish. These plants don't require CO2 injection. Ozelet swords will continue to grow new leaves on a weekly basis with moderate light, but they can tolerate a variety of lighting situations.

Swords of Ozelot reproduce by means of side shoots that emerge from leaves. To stop the plant from spreading, these can be taken out and replanted or taken out and thrown away.
