Ludwigia Peruensis/Gladulosa var. Diamond
$7
Diamond Ludwigia is also known as Ludwigia Diamond.
Diamond Ludwigia is a rarer Ludwigia variety with striking colour. These plants' leaves can be green on top and red underneath in low-tech circumstances, bringing a striking dimension to the mid-ground of practically any aquascape. However, when exposed to high levels of CO2 and sunshine, the leaves can entirely transform into a deep purplish red. Their vibrant hue makes an excellent focal point. The leaves of Diamond Ludwigia plants are oval and pointed, and they grow in opposing pairs along the stem. Depending on tank conditions, the leaves will be green, gold, orange, or red. When planted in bunches of 10-12 stems, these plants look fantastic.
High lighting and nutrient levels are required to get the desired vivid colors in your Diamond Ludwigia. Supplemental iron will bring out the plant's vivid crimson tones. CO2 injection is advised for maximum development and color. The plant can be grown in either submerged or emersed conditions, with emersed plants producing exquisite yellow blossoms.
Plants can be propagated by taking cuttings from the main stem and replanting them in the substrate.
