Aponogeton Capuronii Plant or Bulb
$10
Large bulb plants called Aponogeton Capuronii produce long, curling leaves. As it grows very tall and is very attractive, this aquarium plant is best suited for larger tanks. Although the leaves of Aponogeton Capuronii are narrower and more curly than those of Aponogeton Ulvaceus, it is still quite uncommon in the hobby. The growing pattern resembles the fried spiral potato sticks that are offered at county fairs almost exactly. This plant may grow rather tall and creates an eye-catching centerpiece in any sizable aquarium.
To encourage growth, the substrate should be covered with the lower half of the bulb. To prevent bulb rot, avoid totally submerging the bulb.
