Halfbeaks are surface-dwelling, livebearing fish known for their long lower jaw and torpedo-shaped bodies. They’re often compared to needlefish but are generally smaller

- Minimal surface agitation
- Lighting: Moderate (too bright can stress them)
They feel safest when the surface is broken up with plant cover.
