Rangeri Sword Plant

One of the fastest growing sword plant species is the aquarium plant Echinodorus argentinensis. The popular aquarium plant known as Rangeri Sword, which is native to South America, hails from this region. The ideal application for Echinodorus argentinesis in an aquarium is as a background plant. The water garden plant Echinodorus argentinesis can also be grown emersed and grows to a height of several feet. Long stems bearing tiny white blooms give birth to plantlets of Echinodorus argentinesis.
