Trident Fern (Microsorum pteropus ‘Trident’)

The Trident Fern is a unique variety of Java Fern prized for its narrow, branching leaves that resemble the points of a trident. Its elegant appearance adds texture and movement to any freshwater aquarium while remaining one of the easiest aquatic plants to grow. Because it thrives in a wide range of water conditions and requires very little maintenance, it’s an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced aquascapers.

Trident Fern grows best when attached to driftwood, rocks, or other hardscape using thread or aquarium-safe glue. Do not bury the rhizome, as this can cause the plant to rot. Over time, it will naturally attach itself to the surface and produce new plantlets from its leaves.
