Italian Vallisneria

Common Name: Italian Val

One of the oldest and most well-liked aquarium plants is the Italian Val (Vallisneria spiralis). After a period of acclimation, it soon creates dense, rich green stands with numerous runners. The leaves have a banded form, are marginally serrated, and emerge from a rosette. All levels of aquarists favor them because of how simple it is to maintain them.
