Rotala Rotundifolia Green 'Compact'

Rotala Rotundifolia Green 'Compact' is a variety of Rotala Rotundifolia 'Green,' but this species grows more compact and low to the ground, particularly in bright light. When grown in a high-light, CO2-rich environment, the leaves become highly compact and crawl down to the substrate. When pruned frequently, it can be a foreground, carpet plant, and is especially popular in Dutch-style Aquascape.
