Cryptocoryne Pontederiifolia
Common Name: Pontederiifolia Crypt
Long stems and arrowhead-shaped leaves distinguish Cryptocoryne Pontederiifolia, a special variety of the plant. The underside of the leaves occasionally takes on a faint pink colour in addition to their typical light to olive green color. This plant may go pretty tall, so your aquarium can use it in the background or for the middle ground.
The plant may feed through the roots and grow swiftly if it is cultivated in a quality aquarium substrate, such as Controsoil, without the need for excessive light, CO2, or fertilizer dosing.
Both submerged and emersed crypts can grow. Split the rhizome or remove new growth before replanting to propagate.
