Cabomba
Fanwort, Giant Cabomba are common names for this plant.
Cabomba Aquatica is one of the most common Cabomba species seen in aquariums. In comparison to some of the more difficult Cabomba varieties, it is a simple stem plant that is appropriate for novices. When planted in dense clusters, it makes an excellent background or midground cover and can grow into a thick bush with delicate green leaves.
Because it is hardy and does not require CO2 infusion, this plant is ideal for beginners. It prefers a nutrient-rich environment as well as clean water. Cabomba needs moderate light or the bottom parts of the stems will turn yellow and die. Cuttings that easily take root in the substrate are used to propagate it. Cabomba can be grown in either submerged or emersed conditions.
