Cryptocoryne Undulata
Name Common: Crypt Undulata
A popular variety of Cryptocoryne that has been used in the aquatic plant industry for many years is Crypt Undulata. Depending on the time of year and the location, this plant can be seen growing emersed or submerged in Sri Lanka's streams and rivers. Depending on the growth environment and illumination, the leaves can be any hue from an intense green to a bronze-red. While this plant, like others in the genus Crypt, can endure a wide range of aquarium conditions, it thrives best in a nutrient-rich substrate with sufficient lighting and the addition of CO2.
